Cabbage Vadiyalu

Ingredients

  • 1 kilogram (Kg) of Cabbage
  • 1 kilogram (Kg) of Black gram
  • 2 tsp of chilli powder
  • salt to taste

Method

Step 1

Soak Black gram for around 5 hours.

Step 2

Meanwhile remove the pottu skin and Grate the cabbage

Step 3

Note: don't throw pottu skin we can make use in preparig delicious vadiyalu.

Step 4

Now grind Black gram / urad dal (Taste of the vadiyalu will be good if we grind in wet grinder).

Step 5

Later mix the grated cabbage, mirchi paste and salt to the black gram paste.

Step 6

finally place them on a plastic sheet and make sure that you wet your hand when you keep vadiyalu on the sheet.

Step 7

Now place vadiyalu with sheet in sunlight.

Step 8

Later you can deep fry the dry vadiyalu in hot oil.

Step 9

Later you can deep fry the dry vadiyalu in hot oil. (Note: While frying vadiyal you should remove from the hot oil very soon. You should just drop them & remove from the oil or else they will turn black.)

Step 10

You can store vadiyalu in an air tight container.
