Cashew Nut Burfi Indian Recipe | Maha Shivaratri Recipes

Ingredients

  • Coarsely powdered
  • 1 cup of cashew nut
  • 1 cup of Sugar
  • Cardamom 3 pods (Crushed )
  • ½ cup of Ghee
  • 1 cup of Bengal gram flour

Method

Step 1

In a heating pan add Bengal gram flour and roast for 5 minutes on a medium flame and stirring continuously.

Step 2

In a cooking bowl, add two table spoons of water, sugar and boil till string consistency is reached.

Step 3

Now add the Bengal gram flour, cashew nut powder, ghee, sugar syrup and combine it well.

Step 4

Now add the Bengal gram flour, cashew nut powder, ghee, sugar syrup and combine it well.

Step 5

Later cut into small or desire pieces when warm and separate them.

Step 6

Finally after cool store in a airtight container. Alternatively, in a mixer grinder add cup of cashew nut, ½ cup of milk, sugar of equal measure and make in to a fine past

Now cook the mixture on medium flame, adding 4 table spoon of pure ghee and turning over till the blend thickness slightly.

Step 8

Lastly, sprinkler powdered cardamom on it.
