Khoya Laddu Recipe | महा शिवरात्रि व्यंजनों | Maha Shivaratri Recipes | Indian Festival Recipes Blogs | Hindu Religion Festivals Recipes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of khoya / Khoa
  • 1½ cups of coarsely powdered and Sesame seeds / तिल के बीज (Roasted / भुना हुआ)
  • sugar to taste / चीनी (Powdered)
  • Kesar / केसर , chopped almonds / कटा हुआ बादाम and pistas for decoration

Method

Step 1

First take a frying pan and put it on the stove,

Step 2

Now heat the pan on low flame and roast the khoya / खुवा or till Khoa comes very light golden yellow color.

Step 3

Switch off the flame and let it cool for few minutes.

Step 4

Later add coarsely powdered, roasted sesame seeds and mix it well.

Step 5

Lastly add sugar powder when the above mixture is lukewarm and mix well.

Step 6

Now shape the mixture into small balls.

Step 7

Note : If the mixture is too hot then there is a chance of melting sugar . So, care has to be taken that mixture should not be hot.

Step 8

Khoya Laddu Recipe is read to serve and eat

Step 9

You can arrange the laddus in a plate and decorate with kesar, chopped almonds and pistas.
